News from Dr. Dan in Haiti

Dr. Daniel Adolphe wrote today about how the clinic in Haiti has remained operational during the pandemic. Since he doesn’t have testing supplies, he makes diagnostic decisions by the symptoms with which patients present. He treats all kinds of problems, unlike in the US where so many specialists are available. He recently talked with a patient about Jesus who shared with him how she had depended upon magic. He took another pastor with him and together they went to her home to remove those images. He wrote : “Jesus said, ‘You cannot do anything without me.’ Sometimes I don’t really know what I can do for a patient who is on the way to die and I go to my office and pray and Jesus said to me make this or make that and then everything is okay.” All Dr. Dan’s messages demonstrate his dependence on God where he serves in Haiti.
