We have received a report for the month of April that showed over 900 visits for outpatient services that included not only the births of 10 baby boys and 13 baby girls, but also treatment for diarrhea, dysentery, and malaria (something we don’t worry about in the United States).  Pregnant women with complications are referred out.  The clinic saw patients with chronic conditions…diabetes, asthma, and mental health.  Conditions continue to be curtailed because of COVID-19.

Dr. Pruett and Mary should be returning to the US soon, with stories about the people and information about their needs.  Stay tuned.
