Dr. Darel Pruett reported that the preacher in Dama, Stanley Zimuto, has received a car as a result of a HASTEN donation. This is extraordinary. Instead of having to walk nine miles between the churches where he serves, he now can drive with his family. Local dignitaries came to congratulate the work of HASTEN upon receipt of the car. He has handwritten a letter to thank Pat Mansfield, a dedicated supporter of HASTEN, for her contribution.
